SVCHOST.EXE local systems memory leak

chris

I posted earlier and tried the following fixes: i ran a
virus check and came up clean, i defraged my comp and ran
chkdsk and all went fine, i ran an anti spyware program
and got rid of 135 spyware programs running illegaly on
my comp. I also tried the fix where i was supposed to
check for the digitaly signed drivers and i found 4 of
them but i am not sure what i am supposed to do next?
after that I then restarted my computer, i had no
applications running, and i then monitored my SVCHOST and
saw it climb from 3,000k all the way up to 248,000k. How
can i stop this memory leak because it is slowing my
computer down significantly.
