Suspected cd disk corruption

Hi all
Have twice attempted to copy photos to cd-r disk but when inserting same for
playback computer takes about two minutes to read the disk and then shows up
nonresponsive. Have not had this problem previously. Possibly corrupt?

OS Winxp Pro.
Dell inspiron 9300
58GB free space

Your question is not clear. We don't know what is wrong here.
You attempted to copy. OK. Was this a success?
Then you insert the disk but no response. A disk you made?

Thanks for your response and sorry for being so vague. In the meantime, I
have realised that my problem has been due to two faulty cd's which should
have been discarded previous to copying. Thanks again.
