SUS Schedule update; GPO does not apply the patches

I configured the GPO according to the tech docs.
In "Configure Automatic Updates" section I chose "4- Auto
download and schedule the installation" when I look at the
control panel windows update the setting is set acording
to my time set in GPO, Windows Update.log shows query
requests from the workstation. However the schedule does
not update my system. The other problem that I seen is if
I login as a local admin to the workstation, it notifies
me that patches are available to install and they point to
my sus server
