SUS Issues

Jonathan

I have a few problems, hopefully someone can help me.

1. This is supposed to work with clients that have Win2K
SP2 or higher. However none of our workstations with
Service Pack 2 have the Automatic Updates service
installed.

2. We have the SUS setup through group policy to Auto
download and Install at 3:00am. Yet some clients have
the file downloaded but don't install at their scheduled
time.

3. When looking at the SUS admin page, to approve
updates. Certain fixes have the words "requires reboot"
in red. And Some don't. If this is the case, then why
does Automatic updates reboot systems on patches
that "don't require a reboot".

I hope these make sense. Any help, on any of my 3
problems, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
