SUS and non-admin users

Hi,
We have a Windows 2003 server with SUS installed. Our
clients are all XP machines. When I log in on a XP machine
as an admin-user, I get a message that there are new
updates available. This is how it should be, because I
told SUS on the server to deploy a new update. But when I
log on to the XP machine as a NON-admin user, nothing
seems to happen. I know that I don't get a "notification-
balloon", but when I look in "software", no update is
installed.
Does anyone have the same problem, or better yet, a
sollution ?
Thanx very much.

Michel

You could set SUS to apply the updates as soon as they are
downloaded. But this makes testing patches harder.

Non-admins will not see the SUS pop-up notification. You should probably
use the SUS install option of 4 which is download and automatically
install.

More information on SUS can be found in the SUS white paper.
