Hi all,

avoid this product like the plague. It is a piece of junk.

Not only did it now work on my w2k laptop, it is almost impossible to
remove (absolutely impossible for an average user).

I eventually got rid of it by;

a) removing all references from Regedit (seach all keys, data &
values, 'cos it's well hidden) Backup first,of course!
b) deleting the .exe & .dll from the program files/surfghost directory
(one .dll won't delete yet)
c) rebooting
d) deleting the surfghost directory
e) rebooting again.

That seemed to work, although IE now has an empty space where the
"surfghost" option was in the view toolbars menu.

If you are worreid about blockups, and you value your sanity use
Mozilla (mozilla.org). Surfghost was so bad I think it might even be
malware.
sean.
