Suppressing USB 2.0 Port Warnings

I've got a Win XP Pro laptop with USB 1.1 ports. But every time I plug in a USB Flash
key, I get the "This device can perform faster if you connect it to a high speed USB 2.0
port" balloon tip.

How do I suppress this particular balloon tip?

Tell Microsoft; the quote is straight from their MSKB article.

"Note If you turn off this option, all other USB error messages are also
turned off. "

Did you bother to read the article? Did the author HAVE to use your
specific context rather than use more general terms? Perhaps you should
write the author and complain, or fill out the form at the bottom of the
page.
