Sum query returns wrong results on a large table

Hi
I have a 1.5 million records table. When I do a sum query on a double
ou currency numeric field, query returns zero or some other wrong
result. If I sum a fewer number of records, say 100 hundreds then sum
is done alright. What shall I do to sum all records?

Sounds like overflow. You know the values being summed. Is overflow a
possibility?
