Sum of field

I have a query that has an AMT_Pd column and a Group. 1st I would like the
total of the AMT_Pd and than 2nd I would like the total of the AMT_Pd by
group. How would I go about getting the sum. I have tried many options but
seems to out put just the sum of the field not the total sum of all the
fields.

You are correct, Ken. Didn't think about a sub query for that.

But, with any significant quantity of data, it would be a very slow query.
