subnetting question

Created a new subnet: 192.168.3.0 with mask 255.255.255.0. We already have a 192.168.1.0 subnet, mask 255.255.255.0. The new subnet is set up correctly on our firewall/router located at 192.168.1.100. We can ping from one subnet to the other but a DNS client on the new subnet is unable to see the DNS servers on the old subnet.

Make sure the Firewall/Router knows that this is a "trusted" network. It
probably has some kind of LAT (Local Address Table) somewhere. All your
subnets need to be entered into this table.
