Subject line entry with merge or choose from list

Using XP Pro and Outlook 2003 on a Microsoft Business Network.

I want to select from a listing a text label required by our client to print
in the subject line of our e-mails. Each new e-mail will require a specific
text label as related to the attachments being sent with said e-mail.

What is the most simple way to do this?

I would just use Autotext or macro, but they do not work in Outlook. Any
suggestions?

Sorry. Instead of Microsoft Business Network it should be Microsoft Exchange.

sorry for the confusion.

Mail merge cannot add text to the subject.

Please bear with me on this subject. I think I gave you a bad explanation in
my initial e-mail of what I would like to perform in Outlook.

For example - when in Word I have made a practice of creating a style. Then
under that style category click Insert/Auto Text/Auto Text to add several
individial entries under that style category.

As I need to input those text entries into various documents I click on the
"all entries" button on my toolbar and then choose the named style category
and one of the listed entries to be inputted into the document.

I know that particular approach is not available in Outlook, but is there
something similar?

I do not necessary need to make use of merge.

I just want to be able to click a button that contains a listing with
individual text choices. Choose one of those text items and have it print
into the subject line.

Hope this helps to better explain what I am after.

If your answer is still that what I want to do is not possible, then I will
understand.

Thank you,
