Subject Language Issue

Friends,

I got a problem and its related Arabic Language, I am using MS Office 2000
Pro. I am able to see if I receive an email if in Arabic, but only the
Subject I cannot view correctly, it will be changed in different craters I
don't know why. I thought its problem form the sender side so what I did I
made a test msg from my email (MS Outlook2000) to myself. Once I typed Arabic
in subject, I was able to write but once I received it was changed in
"??????" marks. as per my knowledge Language settings are properly
added/configured. is there something else that I need to do to solve this
problem.
Thanks and Regards,

Naveed

No, I guess we can use any language that is supported by MS and installed on
OS, and in Office. So think about it and give me some useful information.

Thanks for your input.

THE SUBJECT HAS TO BE IN ENGLISH
while you can use any languages supported in the contents

If this is the problem then why we are given an option to type any other
language in Subject Field? FYI, I have some workstations working fine and I
can write/send/receive email with Arabic Subject.
Friend, how do you say that Subject should be in (English) only?

prove me wrong
the language used in the subject depends on the language of Outlook

if you are using a Chinese version of outlook, you can input Chinese in the
subject and whether the recipient can read the subject depends on his/her
language version of Outlook

save yourself the hassle
use English for the subject and contents in your native language

you can argue till the cow comes home, but you won't find a solution

use a common language for all your workstations

My friend,

I am not proving that you are wrong, what I am doing just wanted to solve my
problem and reality I told you nothing else.
We are friends and sharing our knowledge, write?

Thanks

try posting a non English message here but post in English the language that you
use
with the right encode, so that everyone can read your message.

eg

posting a message in Thai

quote
message in Thai
unquote

those who can read Thai will be able to read your message (I don't read Thai
though, I can read both TC and SC)

change the subject line to your native language, that is non- English and
access your posting from another computer where the locale is set to English.
You will see squares in the subject.

There is nothing that you can do to read the subject in your native language
when running a non-native OS.
let's hope this is the end of this thread

one more thing that you can try; create a arabic text file using a arabic OS,
write in arabic, saved it.
next, create another arabic text file but this time save it as an unicode
encoding. Copy the files to any computer running WinXP. Open the file, and you
can read the arabic text with unicode encoding while the other will have
squares.
