subform totals to popform

Greetings. I have a mainform with a tab control on it. The tab control has
a subform on it that is a continuous style showing the many of the mainform
record. On the subform there is a button that opens a popup form with the
totals (or summaries as the users call it) from the subform. The different
totals are based on the amts for material, labor, etc. I am having
difficulty in getting the amts onto the popup form by using an expression in
the control source field. So I seek help from the news group on this. What
would I put there or is there a better way of getting the totals?

Nevermind. I decided to use the button that opens the form and send the info
thru there to the summary fields on the popup.
