subfolders

Hi,

Windows Mail of a customers Vista Home Premium shows a strange "behavior":

Creating or deleting subfolders in "inbox" or "sent object" is not that easy:
Sometimes the new folders are not visible after creation. And sometimes the
folders are still visible after deleting them. "Sometimes" really means, that
the above problems seem to occur without any logical rule. Restaring Windows
can help to accomplish the desired function - but still only "sometimes".
Windows Vista appears on a pre-installed Toshiba Notebook, which is brandnew.

Has anybody a hint for me?

Toshiba laptops come with a program called Desktop SMS.
It is not compatible with Windows Mail and will have to be uninstalled.

A second possibility is a non-compatible antivirus. Which antivirus
are you running?

A third possibility is security programs which often prevent writes to
the registry. Changes can't be saved if they can't be written to the
registry. Some of the security programs known to do this are:

Ad-Aware Ad-Watch
IBM Access Connections
Kaspersky
McAfee VirusScan and/or Antispyware
Norton AV
Spyware Blaster
Spybot> Tools> IE Tweaks
Spybot- Teatimer
Spysweeper
Spyware Doctor
Zone Alarm (free) 6.5, reported to be fixed in later versions.
