Subfolder Names are Gone

In my "My Pictures" folder, all the subfolder names are gone when I'm in thumbnail view. How do I get the subfolder names to be displayed again?

Look close as they are different looking in this view. They should be the
first things you see at the top. Check the names under the first few on the
very top row.

Select a different view. Then press Shift and select Thumbnails again. The
shift key toggles the titles off and on.
