I cannot publish my main web. I can publish all my main webs. Sometimes I can
publish individual folders and images onthe main web, but the entire web is a
nogo.

I get these 3 messages...

Unable to open 'http://66.96.213.21'. Possible causes:1. The web server may
not have the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.2. The web server may be
temporarily out of service.3. If you are connecting through a proxy server,
the proxy settings may be incorrect.4. An error may have occurred in the web
server.

and...What happens when you try to publish to http://www.yourweb.com ?

| We have always done it that way. That is what the host tells us to do.

I don't know. Can I ask if this is a better option for FP?

I have the host - once again - reinstalling the server extentions. I can't
help but think that this is really the problem. But I would like to know why
it would matter if it is the domain name or the ip address.

We own the server. So there ar eonly our 2 websites on the server.Does that
change your comment? Or do you still suggest we use the url address?

They are reinstalling the extentions now, so they may not be there at the
moment. It seems like it's taking hours.
