Sub report Data not visible

Hello all,

I am having a problem getting subreports to display data. After creating
the subreport, when I view the report, all I see is the control outline
repeated for as many records as there are in the subreport.

I suspect this is a master-child field issue, but I'm not finding much on
the archives.

If you see the equivalent of control outlines in the subreport then there
shouldn't necessarily be an issue with master/child. However, you might want
to provide information regarding what these property values are and how they
relate to their respective record sources.

Hi Duane,

I think if I knew more about how master/child's related to their record
sources, I would be a whole lot better off.

I deleted the master/child's and now I have everything I want. I had to
create the subreport without the wizard though.

All is well and I don't know why!

Ps: Could it be that if the Main & Sub reports are based on the same
table, with the same unique ID in the Master/Child's, they don't relate?

Subreports are nearly the same as subforms. They usually display more
detailed, related records.
