Stupid Whidbey Questions

W

William Ryan

This probably isn't the right place, but I know it's probably really dumb
and I didn't know where else would be more appropriate.

When I create a Smart Device Application in Whidbey (regular Smart Device
not "Whidbey Smart Device") and I target the Smartphone OS...what's the deal
with most of the 'normal' controls being disabled? Buttons and checkboxes
are disabled but datagrids are live in the toolbox? Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Bill

Some controls would have limited use on a phone, so it was left out of the
"even more compact" framework on the SmartPhones. Studio is reflecting
that.
