Stuck in install cycle

I'm doing a new install of XP Pro from the CD on a new hard drive. I get
through creating partitions and loading files okay and then it reboots. When
it reboot I have to hit any key to boot from CD it goes back to the beginning
of the installation cycle, select partition, load files, etc. Any ideas on
how to get it to proceed to the next step of the install? I tried switching
the boot order back to the hard drive, but that didn't work.

Do not hit any key after Windows XP begins installation. It will
automatically boot from the CD.

Be sure IDE-0 is selected as one of the boot devices AFTER the CDrom as
first boot device in BIOS.
