Stuck in a loop...Calculating spyware results

D

David

It seems to have found the homepage hijacker on my
system. However, it seems stuck in this endless loop of
calculating the spyware results and determinging the
recommended action for
"Possible browser hijack browser hijacker"
Does this mean anything to anybody?

David,

Please open MSAS, click Tools, Spyware Scan, View Spyware Scan History.
Click on the last scan once to highlight it, then click the
"View full details of scan" link on the right, copy and paste what's
under Detected Threats into your next post. Thanks.

David,
Pardon my burglery of the conversation, but I am having the
same problem. However in my case there is NO scan history
listed because it has never even completed the first scan
without hanging.

gary,

Go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel; click once on MSAS to
highlight it; click the Change button; put a mark next to Update
MSAS; click Next. Did that resolve the scan issue, gary ?
