Stuck in a 'CHKDSK' Loop

I scheduled a complete CHKDSK on both of my hard drives and rebooted to run
them and now every time the chks are done the computer restarts and so do the
chkdsk's.

Any body know how to get out of the loop?

Do you not get the option to hit any key to cancel the disk check within a
few seconds?

Try tapping the F8 key on start up,select safemode with a cmd prompt, enter
as administrator, type:CHKNTFS /X C: Do the same for the other hd but replace
C: with other.

No, Just round and round. I am trying 'safe mode' now but it will take a
while to aparently finish chkdsk in this mode as well.

Get into Safe Mode, look at Winlogon entries under Applications in Event
Viewer for CHKDSK results. If you've run CHKDSK /F and the results
report unrecoverable errors then you may need to run CHKDSK /R. Also
test with the manufacturer's utility for the hard drive.

Always get a second opinion before trying any from Andrew E.
