Stretching Desktop Wallpaper

I have 2 computers, one has Windows98, the other Windows
2000. I can see the options to Tile or Center the
wallpaper, but I keep reading that "Stretch" should also
be an option. I checked for a file called plustab.dll and
I have that in the system folder. Anyone know any good
tips?

The 2000 has everything stretched and no way to un-stretch
the images. The 98 is the opposite, no option to stretch
images.
