Streamlining Outlook Profiles

Is there a way to set an Outlook 2003 profile up, so that it will
automatically setup a Outlook profile for the person signed in (like from NT
username). I tried setting up a basic profile and tried %username% for the
username and it won't take. We want an easy way for our users to sign into a
PC and be able to access their email via Outlook 2003 without having to setup
their profile everytime.

NT environment, using Exchange email server.

This works just fine when you install Office with the Custom Installation
Wizard. Download it from www.microsoft.com/office/ork. It seems a little
daunting when the first time that you use it, but once you dig into it a
little, then it becomes easy. You can just take defaults for everything, but
when it comes to the screen about setting up the profile, then you will be
able to set it up to do as you want to.
