Strange USB memmory stick.

Hi

I recently bought a 16G memmory stick for £16 but have discovered tht
it comes with rubbish in the foerm of LaunchU3.exe. It seems to be
partitioned as I have J: and K: I have tried removing it (Vista) but
it refuses. tried formatting it as well. Is there a wyof having a
blank 16G only.

Just don't AutoPlay the program. For XP, you could set it with TweakUI
from Micro$oft Powertoys.

to remove:
To remove the U3 technology from the drive, simply go to the U3
Launchpad and, under Settings, select U3 Launchpad settings and click
Uninstall. This will completely remove the U3 Launchpad from the drive.
