strange task bar issue

HI there:

My computer has been working fine. All of a sudden two days ago, I started
to have a strange problem. Whenever I have a several windows minimized in
the task bar, normally I just click on them and they pop open. Now, when I
click on an internet site to re-open it, it just lights up to show that it is
activated but the window doesn't pop up. You actually have to click on the
tab 3 times before it will actually pop up properly. When my msn is open but
minimized and I click on it, it would normally pop up to the front of the
screen. Now, when I click on it, it gets lost behind all of the other
windows that are there.

This is very strange. It is a pain not to be able to simply click on a tab
in the task bar and have it open. I often multi-task and have 7 or 8 windows
going at the same time. It has always worked great but now it is a pain!!

Please help!!

Have you tried a system restore to a time right before the problem started?
