PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2997&SUBSYS_4F438086&REV_02\3&61AAA01&0&1B is the problem, he says (the Device manager).
That came from Mercury retrograde+CD with drivers for a different Motherboard, the original disappeared by very strange way too.
So I installed all the drivers manually, or may be MOUSE-ly, I must say? - but this one doesn't want to appear.
It calls itself PCI Serial Port, what ever it could be!
Other times it comes, but disappears the Ethernet card 1394 - they never want to be together. (In every new try to install the drivers, I mean!)
That give me the idea, that the problem is in another place, and not drivers? - if some times they are in their places, just they do not want to live together on the same System?
I took a short curs in A++, it was enough for me for 6-7 years, but now I need some help, plz!???
