Strange Drvie Mapping Behavior

I am running Window XP Pro on a SBS 2003 network. I normally map 3 network
drives (X:, Y:, and Z:). Lately, I've noticed that, as the computer stays
on, additional drive maps are added (currently J:, K:, and W:) without my
interaction. These maps all point to server drives or folders that are
already mapped by X:, Y:, or Z:. I'm thinking that some program is creating
the mappings (which, by the way, disappear after rebooting) for its own
purposes. Has anyone else seen this behavior, and, if so, is there a way to
stop it?

Thanks,

Keith

What version of Office do you run? Do you see FindFast in your startup tab
in msconfig? This is usually the culprit - if you see it, untick it &
reboot, and see if the problem recurs.

Thanks for the response!

FindFast is not is the startup tab in msconfig. I am running Office 2000
here. Any other thoughts?
