Strange disk space reported

On one of my windows 2000 servers, the Free Space for
drive C is being erroneously reported. If you go to My
Computer, Local Disk C: shows Total Size: 3.95 GB, Free
Space: 18.9 GB. Whats up with dat? I have run chkdsk and
rebooted twice. Something ain't right.

Well, I think you know the most likely answer yourself - the HDD is on
the way out. Have you tried downloading and running the manufacturer's
diagnostics?

Did you run chkdksk with the /r switch?
