Storyboard to Movie

and fill up the Storyboard with lots of clips. I think the point is to put
clips into the Storyboard and when you are happy with the sequence to make a
movie from the storyboard. I tried that and it seemed to duplicate the movie
I started with. I deleted all the clips on the pane and the "Make Automovie"
is grayed. The help seems to say make movies from the selections on the pane
or from collections. I have lots of those. I have got to be missing something
but I can't figure it out. Do I have the wrong idea?

Thanx for any help

Somehow the first part of this message was cut off. Here is what it should say:

John,

I knew it would be simple and I feel pretty simple right now. I was looking
for a way to make the movie and then save it. I was using the Automovie to
make it and that is wrong. I tried to just save the movie and wow, it created
it from the clips and saved it. Exactly what I tried to do in 2 steps and
couldn't. I expected that the "normal" operations would have been part of the
default display. Since I never used Movie Maker before I ass-u-me d what was
"normal." So I made the movie before I went to your links. However, I will be
teaching classes in several Microsoft products next semester and most of the
course material will come from the Internet so these links will be invaluable.

Thanks very much. You guys that answer these questions are terrific. I
really fumble trying to fix problems and you fix me up in a heartbeat. I hear
people complaining about Microsoft products and people and I think they have
lost their minds. I looked at Windows in Linex. Now that is weird. Nothing
even approaches your teams.

You're welcome Don. Thanks for the update.

And BTW...MVPs are volunteers...not
employed by Microsoft.
