I have a Dell Dimension 4300 that has its sound incorporated onto its
motherboard. I have had it for 4 years and it has worked fine. Today, I
stopped getting sound through my speakers. I checked the head phone jacks
and I am not able to get sound through those either. I am able to play MIDI
sounds without a problem. Can't hear my music or sounds off of webs or
programs.
My 7 year old son was on the computer earlyer today playing a game (Snood)
and the game was working fine. I have checked all the settings and nothing
is muted, all the defalts are correct and I have tried a new driver and there
are no newer drivers than the one I currently have.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I am at my wits end trying to
figure this thing out. Thanks in advance for your help.
