Please could anyone advise if there is a way to stop word and other office products from saving long file names.
The reason I ask is that by default if users don't manually choose a name for a document it seems to pick the first line of a document which could be ridiculously long. This then causes problems with Backups etc if the file name is too long.
Is there a script or anything that could stop this happening and either force a specific name or at least reduce the number of letters a file name can be.
