Stop printing reviewing pane

I am using the track changes tool to edit documents. When I print out a
document in final form showing the changes, the comments and emendations in
the review pane are automatically printed, too. But I may also want to print
the same document in the original form showing the tracked changes as well as
the document in final form without tracked changes. But in that case, the
same changes in the same review pane are printed for each florm as well. I
don't need to print 18 pages of the same thing three times--it wastes time,
ink, and paper.

I want to be able to shut off printing the contents of the reviewing pane
when I need to, but I can't find anying about it in the Help topics.

Are you printing the document from the Final or Final Showing Markup view?
If the latter, the default "Print what" selection is "Document with markup."

I printed it out twice, once from Final Showing Markup and once from Original
Showing Markup. The setting was "Document with markup." After the document
printed, the printer also printed all the comments, insertions and deletions
that appear on the review pane with at the bottom of the document onscreen.

There are pages and pages and pages of these entries from the review pane.
I don't want to print them. I only want to print the document with the
markup on the page itself. But the review pane entries always print out from
beginning to end, even when I printed out only 1 page of the document.

Is this clear enough?

I assume that what is printing at the end is not just the stuff that didn't
fit in the balloons on the page?

Did you see my most recent reply? You seem to have backed up to an earlier
part of this thread.

Sorry. I read it now. Yes, it prints out everything, deletions, insertions &
all comments through the whole document

I'm stumped, then. I have seen cases where "excess" markup was printed at
the end (when the area allowed for markup was not sufficient for all the
"balloons" on some pages), but I can't imagine why it would repeat
everything.
