I have looked in windows with hidden directories enabled and also in recover
mode.

a couple other kb dirs exist, but none that were on your list.

Hello,

Thank you for your post and as well as to others for sharing these
information.

Yes, KB 156669 gives the detailed information and resolution on this
problem. Please take care when doing these methods as any incorrect changes
to the Registry may even bring more serious problems.

Moreover, because to solidly troubleshoot issues related to blue screen,
debugging the crash dump is needed. I highly recommend you contact
Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;OfferProPhone#faq607
, for further troubleshooting.

Sincerely,
George Yin
