stop a scan without aborting a scan

Is it possible to stop a spyware scan without aborting the
scan? Using other products, like adaware, spysweeper, etc.
you can stop the scan mid way and clear out the spyware it
detected. Every time I try to stop a scan in Microsoft
Anti-Spyware, it just aborts it. So, I can't remove any of
what it already detected. It's a bit frustrating since
it's the only program that's detecting some of the spyware
on the machine, and there are still obvious problems. Does
anyone have an option I just haven't seen?

I don't think that is possible. But the question that is left unanswered,
suppose there are more spyware left to be found. I would just set aside some
time and let MSAS do its job and scour that system.
