Just installed W/2000 service pack 4. After reboot I'm
receiving the following message:

STOP 0x000000D1 (0x00000015, 0x00000002, 0x00000000
Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal 0xEB74AB46)

Address EB74AB46 base at EB748000 date stamp 3e25ba6e
uhcd.sys

If I delete my only usb device (an HP officejet v40xi),
the pc will boot and run o.k. Attempt to reinstall the
printer consistently recieve BSD.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi Reg,

From your given description, it does seems like the
problem lies with the USB Printer.
This problem may occur when one is upgrading the OS from
Windows 98 to Window 2000.

To resolve the problem, you may want to try the
following:

1) Clean boot the computer. (With the printer
unplugged).
2) Goto <http://www.hp.com> and download the updated
drivers (Make sure it's SP4 for Windows 2000.)

Also, I've found some article from the HP website:

Hope the given information helps.
