Still trying to copy/paste text from Outlook 2003...?

I can't figure out why when I try to select text from a received email, copy
it, then paste in another application (email, Word, etc.), the pasted image
is not text at all. Rather it appears like a thumbnail of an image. When I
drag a corner to enlarge it, it's a box of blurry color.

I open the message and go to Edit>Edit Message before selecting and coping
the portion of text I want. It will paste OK as text in a new email if I
haven't closed & re-opened Outlook. But I use multiple profiles and sometimes
want to copy an excerpt to paste in a new message from another profile.

Anyone have any suggestions?

if the application is OLE compliant, it will paste the document, which
displays as the image. try pasting into notepad first, then copy from
notepad and paste into the document. (or get a utility called pure text to
convert it to plain text)
