Hi,

Yesterday I posted my problem to this newsgroup and got a few
suggestions. I entered the following addresses ( using ie 6):

192.168.1.1
192.168.0.1
10.10.1.1

No luck!

Also I got a suggestion to use the following to find out the address
for the router using:

ipconfig /all and look for the dchp address.
I entered it in the browser but no luck with the ip 81.234.18.1

Hmm I womder if my isp has done something with the dsl/router?
Are there any more suggestions? I am getting really frustrated
................

(Ps. I have the same modem at home but I could use the following
192.168.1.1 to access it.)

cheers,

I would try reseting it to factury defaults then see if you can access
it with 192.168.1.1
Look on the rear panel there should be a small appeture, insert a
straightened out paper clip and hold it in for 20 seconds.

The way to find the router address is to go to start, run, and type cmd and
press enter.

In the command window, type ipconfig and press enter.

Look for the number next to the words "Default Gateway".

For example I get :
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

Enter *that* address in the browser. You'll likely be asked for a
username and password.

Once you are in the router, look for a Status page. The WAN IP address it
receives from your ISP will be listed there. If you're using DSL with a
username and password, this may also appear near the connect/disconnect
button.

Sorry, don't know what model you're using and the Zyxel site doesn't seem to
want to give me manuals just now.
