stick shift on the key board

I am using a Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 1.0A with Visa Business
Edition
I installed the Intellitype software, version 6.1
it seems that the left shift key sometimes "sticks" (sorry for the play on
words in the subject).
Occasionally when I press the left shift key, all the following characters
are up shifted, even the numerics are up shifted. when I do a mouse click, I
get results as if I did a shift-click
I checked the Ease of Access Settings, but nothing is set there.
Is anyone familiar with this issue? is there a solution?

(btw, upgraded from XP where I did not have this problem - in fact it seems
to have started only after I installed Intellitype)

Man, I wish I had a stick shift on my keyboard... then I could shift Vista
into high gear and get movin'!!! lol

Anyway are you using IntelliMouse as well? I found this:

But that seems to be related to IntelliMouse, not IntelliType. Perhaps
there's a similar setting that you may have accidentally done the same thing
with?

yes i am using an intellipointer with a wireless mouse. maybe there is a
connection.
