Status Bar Missing From IE6 & XP

I can't remember the last time I saw the status bar in
IE. I seached the Microsoft support and could not find
anything on this. The progress bar, lock icon, is all
missing. My web pages go all the way to the bottom with
no edge or border. How do I get this back.

Open Internet Explorer > View > enable Status bar. If the settings doesn't stick on next reboot, try this:
Go to Windows Explorer/View/Status Bar. Then go to Tools/Folder Options/View/Apply to all folders.

Enable Show Status Bar (Line 67)

.
Simply check the Status Bar setting on the View menu.
