Statistical Analysis for a Thesis

Hello,
I am trying to crunch my data for my thesis and I'm at a complete loss as to
what to do. If anyone can help me figure out how to input my data I would be
very happy. I have one independent variable (type of teacher) with two levels
(general education and special education). I gave out a questionnaire to
several teachers. The questionnaires have 15 questions. The special ed group
returned 16 usable questionnaires and the general ed teacher group returned
56 usable questionnaires. I need to use a two-tailed t-test to get my results
but I don't know where to start or what to do! Can anyone help me? Thank you.

I would start by using the function TTEST in excel. If you click INSERT
then FUNCTION. You can then type TTEST and hit <enter> then select
TTEST.

That's a start.
