i used msconfig to remove any useless applications on startup, and
still, when i start up my pc, it takes a good 4 minutes to get going.
for most of the time , the processor is up at 80% to 90 % use. my pc
is an AMD athlon 1.4 ghz with 768 mb of ram, so it should have no
trouble with a decent startup. i think that winlogon.exe eats up a lot
of resources on startup, at least thats that i see in task manager.
any ideas??
