Startup Scripts

Hello,

I am having a problem getting startup scripts to work. I
have a domain GPO that specifies a startup script (not
logon) it will run on one computer but not the other. If I
run gpresult on the computer that runs the script, I see
that it ran and where it got the script from. This section
does not show up for the computer that does not run the
startup script. Gpresult shows that the gpo id's are the
same. However one computer gets the gpo from a different
domain controller than the other one. Security on the gpo
is set properly. The only difference I can see between
these two computers is that one has sp4 (the one that
doesn't work) and the other has sp3 (the one that does
work). Any ideas why this might happen. Thanks!

Here are a couple reasons, we would need a userenv log from a good and bad
machine to determine the cause of the issue you are having:

Thanks for the reply,

However, the problem I'm having is with Startup scripts,
not Logon scripts. The two articles mentioned below only
reference Logon scripts. I have turned on debugging and
will send you this as soon as I get it.

Thanks
Mark

You should be able to post them as an attachement. They should be pretty
small ZIP to compress further.
