Everytime I start up Windows XP Home edition I get the
error message in a box labeled 6c4: qttask.exe-No
Disk "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a
disk into drive /Device/Harddisk1/DR1."

How can I prevent this message from popping up?

Click START|RUN and type...

msconfig <enter>

Click the Start Up tab.

If the QTTASK (Quicktime) item is shown, UNcheck the box to its left.

Reboot, and check the box in the prompt that appears at start up.
