STARTING A WEB SITE

Hi, I have been fiddling around with Front Page for a while now and I don't
seem to get anywhere with it. Can anyone tell me of a source of information,
which starts from absolute basics! I am just trying to create a basic,
personal web site

And, candidly, the more you know about HTML and CSS, the easier your
learning process will be.
