start windows using the welcome screen.

My laptop automatically logs on to windows xp, i want windows to start at the
welcome screen. How do you enable this. I've tried manipulating the "use
welcome screen" and the "fast switching" menus from the control panel, both
are already enabled. I want to be able to click on my icon at the welcome
screen before I log on. There is currently 1 user on this laptop.

Hi,

Are you running any tweaker programs? When did this behavior begin? This
could be due to PCA, etc. Are you getting any Gina.dll errors? If the
below doesn't help, I will need more info, including programs running in the
background and registry keys:
