start up problems

When i turn on my computer it takes 4 to 5 mins before it is free to be used
there is a very slow start up process I have tried cleaning and viruses etc
nothing is showing up as problem any ideas?

Do the following in the same order as specified and stop at the point you
get a normal boot-up; Start\Run\Startup\uncheck all non-system applications
and read How to perform a clean Boot to make booting lighter and quicker, if
it doesn't help, the Master Boot Record may be corrupt, read article 69013
to learn how to rewrite it.
