Hello,
I have Win 2K Pro.My start page MSN.com will not
fully load,on the bottom it states "(1 item remaining)
opening page.I would appreciate any feedback.

Please try to change the homepage to Google.com or any
other site. If they doesn't show this (1 item remaining)
Good.
I would suggest you to update your browser with IE6
patches.
