start menu

I posted this earlier but no response, so I am trying again.

Every time I rename "My documents" on the start menu the renaming takes but
then the next time I start up my computer it is renamed back to "My
documents" even though in Windows Explorer it retains the name I gave it.
In other words, if the folder is actually named "Bob's documents" the start
menu has it as "My documents". So if I rename it on the start menu, to the
same name the folder actually has, it doesn't take permanently, only until
the next time I restart the computer. This is even thought the folder name
is not changed. Is there anyway to make the renaming on the start menu
stick?

What does "tge" mean? Also, if it is a hard link then shouldn't it take the
folder's name? It used to be listed that way all the time on the start menu
and now for some reason it is always calling it "My documents". Why would
it have changed?
