Start Menu Ordering

i have the option set to turn off alphabetic sorting of my start menu
shortcuts

yet it still reorders everything back into alphabetic order after i have
dragged everything to where i want it

this appears to happen after a new program is installed

are there any solutions to this?

I'm glad that works for you. (not being cynical) I can't remember how to get
the alphabetic sorting to work. My ;programs always show in the order that
they were installed. How did you get them to alphabet sort?

duh, right-click and choose Sort by Name
