start menu not expanded

How do I get rid of the little down arrows on the Start Menu->All Programs?
I'd rather have them all seen at once, cascaded when there's too many to fit
in one column....

Right click on an open area on your Taskbar at the bottom of
the screen.
Select Properties from the menu.
Click on the Start Menu tab.
Click on the Customize button.
Click on the Advanced tab.
In the "Start menu items" box, remove the check mark in the box
next to "Scroll Programs".
Click OK twice.

In the "Start menu items" box, remove the check mark in the box

cont'd

It hides all programs that I haven't started from the StartMenu, either
because I use them through context-menu on Rclick, or because there's a
shortcut on the desktop...

Is there anywhere in TweakUI to affect this??

The only other setting I can think of that would cause a down
arrow to be displayed on the Start Menu would be if you were
using the Classic Start Menu and had enabled Personalized
Menus. You might want to check the following:

Right click on the Taskbar again and select Properties.
Click on the Start Menu tab.
Click on the Customize button.
Scroll down to the bottom of the box and remove the check mark
next to "Use Personalized Menus".
